Advance Ticket Sales Fundraiser
Overview
The CVD Advance Ticket Sales Fundraiser is a way for your group, school or church to raise funds for their projects. Sell these discounted admission and ride tickets for the Conejo Valley Days carnival, and bring awareness about CVD as well as your group.
All elementary and middle school children, and teens from two booster clubs per high school, along with club organizations and churches, are eligible to sell pre-sale entry/ride tickets to the 2009 Conejo Valley Days. Each participating will receive a specific number of entry/ride tickets to be presold prior to Conejo Valley Days. A percentage of the ticket sales will go to the group. Unsold tickets are returned to the Conejo Valley Days Executive Board. The tickets are the responsibility of the group until they are returned to Conejo Valley Days
CVD Advance Ticket Purchasers will show their ticket at the gate for entry. Once inside Conejo Valley Days they can use the pass to get an unlimited ride wristband or ride tickets at one of the ride ticket booths.
Fundraiser Ticket Cost (includes admission)
OPTION 1: : $28 (includes admission and ride wristband for Wednesday, Thursday or Friday)
OPTION 2: $28 (includes admission and a sheet of 36 tickets to be used any of the five days) One sheet of 36 tickets represents a 40% discount off the regular price of a sheet.
OPTION 3: $6 General Admission
NOTE: It is up to the ticket purchaser to decide which option to select. The ticket sold by the participating group is good for either options. These individual adult admission tickets will be sold to preclude the parents of those children purchasing one of the above options from standing in line at the festival gate.
Money to PTAs/Booster Clubs
- First 200 wristband/ ticket sets sold: Each participating group earns $3 per set
- Next 200 to 500 sold: Each participating group earns $4 per set
- Over 500 sold: Each participating group earns $5 per set
Contests
Conejo Valley Days will provide prizes for the individual who sells the most wristbands per participating group or school. Here's what we will provide:
Top ticket seller wins:
- Four, five-day entry passes
- Two sheets of ride tickets (72 ride tickets)
- One unlimited ride bracelet
Second highest ticket seller wins:
- Four, five-day entry passes
- One sheet of ride tickets (36 ride tickets)
- One unlimited ride bracelet
Third highest ticket seller wins:
- Four, five-day entry passes
- One ride unlimited bracelet
NOTE: If classes are competing against one another for top selling honors, we will provide the above prizes for the overall school winners. In addition, students in the top selling classroom at each school will each win a five-day entry pass.
Timing
Please call (805) 371-8730 NOW with your ticket quantity requests, and to set an appointment to pick up your tickets. A responsible, authorized adult (over 18) will need to sign for the tickets they are taking.
Sales will end on Tuesday, May 5, 2009. All monies (in one check payable to: Conejo Valley Days) and unsold tickets must be turned in on or before Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Turn-in location on the 5th will be at the Conejo Valley Days Carnival site at the CVD Mobile Office in the front parking lot. Prior turn-ins will be by appointment.
